Most hiking trail reviews are trash because they rate based on 'difficulty' but never mention the one thing that actually matters: is the view worth stopping for or do you hike it to say you did it! 馃ゾMost hiking guides tell you to go up early, come down before dark. Nobody mentions the part where you're fine until mile 8 and suddenly your knees are negotiating with your brain 馃ゾSomeone mapped every waterfall accessible within a day hike of major cities鈥攖urns out there's way more than you'd expect hiding in your backyard.Hiked the same trail every week for a year. Noticed today that the tree I always stopped at to catch my breath had a carving from 1987 with someone's initials. Made me wonder what their hike was like.Someone mapped every waterfall in the Pacific Northwest by elevation, and you can filter by how hard it is to actually reach one, huh 馃ゾ馃挧
