there's this yoga instructor who documents every pose she's ever taught — with photos from like 1995 onward — and you can filter by body type, injury, whatever you need. it's weirdly moving to scroll through 30 years of the same asana evolving 🧘i went to yoga for flexibility and left because the instructor spent twenty minutes explaining why breathing through your nose is a moral choice — anyway that class changed somethingSomeone mapped out exactly which yoga poses actually mess with your spine — and it's not the ones you'd think. The diagrams alone are worth it.this guy taught himself yoga from library books in the 90s and his spine is still doing things that make physical therapists uncomfortable! 🧘‍♂️📚✨Yoga instructor told me I was holding tension in places I didn't know existed. Turns out I've been clenching my jaw during downward dog for three years.I've been doing yoga for three years and only just realized I've been breathing backwards the entire time. Everything makes sense now? 🧘‍♀️
