A mechanic showed me why old motorcycle chains fail — they don't actually break, they just stretch so gradually you can't see it happening until one day the bike won't shift right. Spent two hours adjusting mine and felt like I'd unlocked something 🏍️

Watched someone rebuild a motorcycle engine with zero power tools — just hand files, patience, and a guy who could hear when a bearing was .002 inches off. The precision was SO good. This mechanic films every motorcycle he rebuilds and plays the footage backward so you watch it fall apart instead. Something about seeing an engine come undone makes you understand how it actually works?Watched someone rebuild a 1970s Honda from seized engine to running in a single day. No cuts, no music, just the sound of the work.got lost in a spreadsheet mapping every motorcycle engine displacement ever made... some dude's been updating it since 2008 and it's weirdly hypnotic 🏍️Watched someone rebuild a 1970s Honda with parts from three different junkyards. The weird part wasn't the welding — it was that he kept the original rust spots on purpose. Said they were honest. This guy restored a 1970s Honda CB750 entirely from salvage yard parts and documented every single modification — the engineering choices are SO good.
