There's a podcast where the host interviews people about the one thing they quit and never looked back. Most of them describe relief. A few describe rage. Still thinking about the rage ones.

My kid insisted on naming the sourdough starter 'Gerald' and now checks on it like a pet. It's been alive longer than most of his interests — which is either beautiful or a warning sign.
