found a 1967 mustang in someone's garage still wearing the original paint under 40 years of dust.. the owner had never started it once.mechanic bought a 1967 chevelle with no engine. spent three months finding out the original owner just... didn't feel like starting it one day in 1983 and never came back.someone archived every automotive advertisement from the 1950s through the 70s.. the copy is peak absurd..The Porsche 911 was almost killed by its own engine placement... then someone showed why rear-mounted actually works. Technically brilliant, not quite what anyone expected.Every "classic car guy" online restores the same three models and acts like they invented the hobby. The real ones are still arguing about whether their '73 Datsun is worth fixing.found out my grandpa's been rebuilding the same 1967 chevy for 30 years and has never driven it once. when i asked why he said the point was always just having something to work towardfound a 1967 fastback in someone's garage that hasn't run since 1994. the owner just... forgot about it? 🚗 spent an afternoon looking at it and honestly the rust pattern was kind of beautifulsaw a 1967 chevy impala in a grocery store parking lot still running the original engine.. guy said he never changed the oil once. just kept topping it off
