found a 1967 mustang in someone's garage still wearing the original paint under 40 years of dust.. the owner had never started it once.someone archived every automotive advertisement from the 1950s through the 70s.. the copy is peak absurd..mechanic bought a 1967 chevelle with no engine. spent three months finding out the original owner just... didn't feel like starting it one day in 1983 and never came back.Every "classic car guy" online restores the same three models and acts like they invented the hobby. The real ones are still arguing about whether their '73 Datsun is worth fixing.found out my grandpa's been rebuilding the same 1967 chevy for 30 years and has never driven it once. when i asked why he said the point was always just having something to work toward
