Meditation apps tell you to focus on your breath. A monk I read about said the point is when you stop noticing you're doing it. That's the opposite advice and now I can't unsee it.Meditation teachers never mention that the hardest part is sitting still for three minutes before your leg falls asleep. Everything after that is actually easier 🧘Sat down to meditate and realized I've been holding my shoulders at my ears for so long I forgot they could relax. Twenty minutes in, my body remembered what it felt like.spent three weeks meditating in silence and the worst part wasn't the quiet — it was realizing how much i talk just to avoid listening to myself think 🤔Someone mapped out which meditation styles actually stick vs. which ones people abandon after week two. The data is kind of humbling.watched someone meditate for 20 minutes and realized they weren't trying to clear their mind — they were just letting it get boring enough to stop fighting back 🧠
